The rules for using PostCopilot's websites, tools, and browser extensions.
Last updated: 22 August 2026 · Effective: 22 August 2026
The short version. PostCopilot gives you free tools that read publicly visible content from Threads and X. Do not use them to harass anyone, to break Meta's or X's rules, or to process personal data unlawfully. Free use has honest daily limits; paid plans lift them. We provide the tools as-is and cannot guarantee that a third-party platform will keep working the way it does today.
This summary is for convenience only. The full terms below are what actually applies.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and PostCopilot, an independent software project operated by Irma Pugachev in the United States ("PostCopilot", "we", "us"). They govern your use of the websites at postcopilot.ai, the tools hosted there, and our browser extensions (together, the "Service").
By using the Service you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the Service. Most of our tools work without an account, so your first use is your acceptance.
PostCopilot is a set of utilities for creators working on Meta Threads and X/Twitter. Depending on the tool, the Service can:
The Service reads only content that is publicly accessible at the time of the request. It does not bypass privacy settings, log in on your behalf to accounts you do not control, or retrieve content from private or restricted profiles.
PostCopilot is an independent third-party tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or approved by Meta Platforms, Inc., Threads, X Corp., or Google. All trademarks are the property of their respective owners.
You must be at least 16 years old, or the minimum age of digital consent where you live if that is higher, to use the Service. By using it you confirm you meet that requirement and that you are not barred from doing so under any applicable law.
Most tools require no account. Where you choose to sign in with Google, you are responsible for keeping access to that account secure, and for all activity that takes place through it. Tell us promptly at irma.pugachev@gmail.com if you believe your account has been used without your permission.
You agree not to use the Service to do any of the following, and not to help anyone else do them:
We may suspend access immediately, and without notice, where we reasonably believe this section has been breached.
The Service interacts with platforms we do not control. Threads, X, Google, and Stripe each have their own terms and privacy policies, and those apply to you independently of these Terms.
You are responsible for how you use what you retrieve. Content posted by other people generally remains theirs, and the fact that something is publicly visible does not by itself give you the right to republish it, use it commercially, or process it as personal data. Where you export data about identifiable people, you are typically the data controller for what you then do with it, and you are responsible for having a lawful basis. If you are unsure what that means for you, take your own legal advice.
We may change, restrict, or withdraw any feature if a platform changes its rules, its interfaces, or its technical behaviour. That can happen without notice and is outside our control.
The Service is usable at no cost, with no signup, subject to daily limits that reset at midnight UTC. Those limits are published in the product interface at the point they apply, and are currently 3 exports per day and 1 export-file download per day, with per-export caps on the number of rows returned. We may adjust these limits — including reducing them — as capacity and abuse patterns require. Rows already displayed to you on screen are not retroactively removed.
We offer a Pro subscription at $39.99 per month and a 24-hour day pass at $2. Both grant the same entitlements; the only difference is how long they last. Current prices, inclusions, and limits are those shown at checkout at the time you buy, and those shown at checkout prevail over any other description.
Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card details. By purchasing you authorise Stripe to charge your payment method for the amount shown, plus any tax that applies.
The Pro subscription renews automatically each month until cancelled, at the then-current price. The day pass is a single one-off payment that expires 24 hours after purchase and does not renew. Buying an additional day pass extends the time you already have; it does not stack entitlements.
We may change prices. A change to a subscription price will not apply to your current billing period.
You can cancel the Pro subscription at any time. Cancellation stops the next renewal; your access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for. We do not pro-rate part-months.
If the Service fails to deliver what you paid for — for example a paid export that produced nothing because of a fault on our side — email irma.pugachev@gmail.com and we will refund you. We will not refund purchases where the Service worked as described and you simply did not use it, and we will not refund where the account was suspended for breaching section 4.
Nothing here limits any statutory right of withdrawal or refund you may have as a consumer under the law of your own country.
What we collect, why, and for how long is set out in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
Two points matter commercially and are repeated here. First, export results are held in server memory only, for a short period, so that you can download the file — they are not written to disk and are not retained after that window closes. Second, we do not sell exported content, and we do not use it to build a database of profiles.
Files you download are yours to keep. We do not guarantee that a file will remain available for later re-download; if a result has expired, run the export again.
The Service, including its software, interface, text, and branding, belongs to PostCopilot and is protected by copyright and other laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service in line with these Terms. Nothing here transfers ownership of anything to you.
Content retrieved through the Service belongs to whoever created it. AI-generated drafts produced by the Service are yours to use, and we claim no ownership over them; you remain responsible for checking that publishing a given draft is lawful and accurate.
We aim to keep the Service running but do not promise any particular level of uptime, throughput, or speed. Features may be added, changed, degraded, or removed at any time. We may impose or adjust rate limits, quotas, and concurrency caps to protect the platform and other users.
The Service depends on third-party infrastructure and on platforms that actively change their behaviour. Interruptions caused by those parties are not a breach of these Terms.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. We specifically disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free; that results will be accurate, complete, or current; or that any defect will be corrected. Data retrieved from a third-party platform reflects what that platform returned at that moment, and may be incomplete, stale, or wrong for reasons we cannot see.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, PostCopilot and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunity, arising out of or relating to your use of the Service — whether the claim is in contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or otherwise, and even if we were told such damages were possible.
Our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you actually paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) US $50.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PostCopilot and its operator against any claim, demand, loss, liability, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) brought by a third party and arising from your use of the Service, your breach of these Terms, your breach of a third-party platform's terms, or your handling of personal data obtained through the Service.
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms, if we are required to by law, or if continuing to serve you would create a material risk to the Service or to other users.
Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including sections 8 through 13, 16, and 17 — continue to apply afterwards.
We may update these Terms. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date above. Where a change is material we will make a reasonable effort to flag it in the product. Continuing to use the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the revised Terms; if you do not accept them, stop using the Service.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida and the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Florida, and you consent to personal jurisdiction and venue there.
If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, the United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction whose law grants you the right to bring proceedings locally, this section does not remove that right.
Before starting formal proceedings, please email us — nearly everything is resolvable in one message.
Questions about these Terms go to irma.pugachev@gmail.com, or via the contact page.
If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the rest remains in force. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service.
