Frequently Asked Questions

How do I export my Threads followers?

Enter any Threads username, log in to your Threads account through the in-page browser session, then click "Export Followers." Your follower list downloads as CSV or JSON with usernames, bios, follower counts, and verification status.

Can I export someone else's Threads followers?

Yes. You can export followers and following lists from any public Threads profile. Just enter their username and login to your own Threads account to authenticate.

What data is included in the follower export?

Each follower record includes: username, full name, bio, follower count, following count, and verification status. You can download as CSV (for Excel/Google Sheets) or JSON.

Is there a limit on how many followers I can export?

No hard limit. You can set the max number of followers to export (default is 250). Large accounts with millions of followers may take longer but there's no cap.

Is my login information safe?

When you click "Login," a real Chrome browser starts on our server and you interact with it through a live remote view (noVNC). Your keystrokes are forwarded directly into Threads' login page — PostCopilot does not log, store, or read your credentials, and they are not retained anywhere on our infrastructure after the session ends.

Do I need a Chrome extension?

No. This is a web tool that works in any browser. If you prefer a Chrome extension, we also offer the Threads Exporter Extension that works directly on threads.net.

What's the difference between this and the Chrome extension?

This web tool works in any browser — just login and export. The Chrome extension installs in your browser and exports directly from threads.net. Both are free. Use whichever is more convenient.

How do I save my Threads followers as a CSV file?

Enter the Threads username, log in to your own Threads account in the in-page browser session, click Export Followers, and choose CSV as the format. The file contains username, full name, bio, follower count, following count, and verified status — ready to open in Excel, Google Sheets, or Numbers.

Is there a free way to export Threads followers without an API or coding?

Yes — this tool requires no API key, no developer account, and no code. You log in through a standard browser session and export the list with one click. Threads' public Graph API doesn't currently expose follower lists, which is why most free exporters work through the browser UI like this one.

Can I export both Threads followers and following at the same time?

Yes — the tool exports followers and following separately. Run the followers export, then run the following export from the same session. Both downloads use the same CSV/JSON format so you can diff them, find mutuals, or spot accounts that follow you but you don't follow back.
